A while ago I have started my own firm. It is not a huge one. I would say it is rather small. We operate just in our local area and we provide 1 of those services that are highly needed and everyone uses from time to time. There is only one problem with that industry – the competition is very tough. What’s more, all competitors provide the same services for the same price. In that branch, there is no space for different services and their variations.

There is also no possibility to law a price as it is already on the verge of profitability. Therefore, it was clear that there was not many possibilities. Even if our service was amazing and an employee was very nice and helpful, there was a huge chance that our client couldn’t recall our name in a few months, when will be in need to use this service again. Previously we even arranged a small research that confirmed it! In consequence, after many discussions and brainstorming in the office, we decided about two essential things.

Firstly, we should to have a name which is very easy to remember so clients could easily recall it every time when they have to use our service again. Nonetheless, it is not so easy as it might seem to be. Most of the companies possess rather easy names. The main problem is that easy doesn’t naturally mean easy to remember. So, we have decided to choose just 1 word. This word had to be directly connected with our branch and services. Actually, it is actually the first word that comes into your mind when you think about that kind of services.

Secondly, we made a decision to create banners. But it was not just creating banners. Many firms have banners but this doesn’t naturally mean that clients know them and can recognize them. As I wrote, our aim was that our customers entirely remember us. In consequence, we didn’t try to speculate how to create a successful banner.
