You won’t believe what destination I am choosing for holiday this year

I have always spent my holidays in a very active way. For instance, I was backpacking in some of those African countries, wondering around various deserts or doing other crazy activities. But even though these activities were different, they had always 1 thing in common – they were always extremely physically demanding. Usually I was gong for such active holidays with my best good friend Nicole. This year we didn’t manage to go for a holiday together because my partner didn’t get free days in August so I had no choice but postpone my journey for a few week. In consequence, my friend went for a holiday alone. Luckily, she wasn’t very upset about that fact.

I met her last Sunday to talk about what she was doing and what she experienced. I was expecting to hear some wild stories but apparently I was wrong. She went to Santorini – one of those greatly beautiful Greek island. It was a huge surprise for me, as I didn’t think about her as about spmebody who would go to this typical holiday places. But what was even more surprising for me – she booked 1 of those luxury hotels santorini.

I need to admit – at the beginning I thought it was simply stupid. I was hoping to hear extremely wild stories about travelling deep forest by herself and sleeping mainly in a tent. But when she showed me pictures, entirely changes my mind. When I saw them I realized that I would like to spend my holiday not only on the same island as her, but also in one of these luxury hotels.

Could you imagine that? During so many days she didn’t have not even one thing she had to complain about. Nice personel, amazing food, good service. She told me that every time when she woke up, she could admire amazing beach.

When she was having a breakfast, she could see the view of gorgeous cliff. I was jealous already. But when she showed me pics of the view from a hotel bedroom, made a decision to go there as well!
