Now I am aware that driving a car might be fun if you have new technology!

Last week I had a chance to drive a vehicle that belongs to a colleague. I never drive. I passed a driving licence. However, I don’t even own a vehicle. I just didn’t find that enjoyable or worth. I usually rather considered this as a duty, not as a thing which could bring also a joy. Recently, just after this ride, I totally changed my mind! Presently, I am positive that this can become an unforgetable time. I probably changed my opinion thanks to the two things I was using while a drive.

First of all, the car was equipped with bmw combox. You don’t know what it is? Don’t worry. A while ago I hadn’t known about that too. Nevertheless,that is something so awesome that this is good to be aware it exists. I will try to present it by the following way. Have you flied one of this really modern plane? In that kind of planes, every passenger has its own screen on which he or she could listen to the music, play a game and even watch favoured movie. So the combox is something very similar. On the screen I was able to choose between different multimedia and radio. I can also choose a navigation option. It’s possible to even browse on the internet. Can you imagine that? That was like a laptop installed right on the front of the vehicle! You may presumably think that I lie. I want assure you that I don’t. I can even connect that combox with an external devices. It can be done directly or via a Bluetooth! This is very impressive, isn’t it?

Moreover, he showed me how to make a use of a parking assistance with bmw surround view system. As a result of having, surround view camera I was able to look at a like from bird’s-eye view. I could see the area and possible obstacles not just in front of my car, but also in the back and on both sides. When I have activated the function, a system showed all items around my car. I could obviously see all of this on the screen. That function even inform me when I should have turned on a turn-signal! Later on, the info appeared on the screen. It said that I need to engage reverse gear as well as remove hands from the steering wheel When I executed this command, the steering wheel staaarted to spin itself! It was awesome. Nonetheless, we still need tokeep in mind that it is only a machine. We still have to make sure that there are no passerbies behind our car.
