A couple thoughts about my experience with rear view camera

I was often nervous of the moment when I wanted to do reverse parking and I had to place a car in a very narrow space. A lot of us as not only was practising this skill over and over again during the driving course, but also had to perform this move when having the driving exam. I handled to pass it victoriously but it didn’t change one thing – I always felt terribly stressed each time I needed to do reverse parking. This thing terrified me so badly that I subconsciously started to avoid reverse parking.
Last month I was dropping home my friend. When we were looking for a parking place next to his house, he quikcly noticed I was very terrified that I had to do a reverse parking. However, he didn’t say a word at that time.

Days were passing by and I didn’t remember anymore about this situation in my car. However, my colleague has an amazing memory. On my birthday he gave me… bmw reverse camera f30! The gift was accompanied with a nice card that said: “I am sure that you will enjoy driving much more, if you don’t trouble about a reverse parking so badly. With that camera you would see everything you want to see behind a car!”.

And guess what? He was right! I have been using that rear view camera f30 for a while now. And I love this! If you compare it to ordinary car mirrors, that camera enables to seemuch more and at better angle. I don’t have to worry no more that there is area known as “blind area” just in the back of a car. I can see everything I need to reverse safely.

What’s even more, while I was relying solely on car mirrors, I was also scared about the fact that proportions and distance of the view that I could see in traditional rear view mirrors was oftendistorted. Thanks to the reverse camera I do not have to speculate about distance anymore. I am able to check how much place precisely is still there and how far I can still reverse. To sum up, if you are afraid of reverse parking, the rear view camera can be a great solution for you too. I am really thankful for my friend that he gave it to me. If I was informed before that such thing exists, I wouldn’t have wasted all of that time trying to avoid reverse parking! If there is such excellent device that is able to make your life easier, why not to use it!
